Appanoose County is part of a regional revolving loan called Regional Economic Development Investments (REDI). Two short-term, low interest loan programs, REDI and Self Employment Loan Program (SELP) provide solid gap financing, project start-up or expansion assistance.

REDI Inc., a non-profit corporation, was formed in 1990. the RLF provides low-interest loan for business/industry retention, expansion and start-up activities. REDI funds are available for fixed asset and/or working capital loans for activities that create new or retain existing jobs within the Region.
